Not strictly a debian question, but I decided today to move away from Gnome & KDE and try using Windowmaker. Lovely window manager, but I really need a filemanager. I use my desktop extensively for dropping files etc.. Windowmaker doesn;t seem to have such a beast, so I tried running Gnome's GMC.
