My backspace key stopped working in X for some odd reason. The
Delete key works fine, but the Backspace key does nothing when I press
it. I tried several programs, and it doesn't work in any of them. Any

Thanks for the advice. I changed Default Depth to 16 and now I can
get a display, but it seems to decide that any resolution greater than
800x600 is not valid. I know that with only 2 MB of video memory I
can't get some of them, but 1024x768 works fine with XFree 3.3.6.

Thanks Carel! This is exactly what I had in mind, but I
didn't know how to pull it off. Much nicer than my
/etc/init.d/tcp-pipes hack, though a bit more overhead
(slow on this 486/33, should be ok on the p3/500).

IIRC, the maintainer was no longer interested in maintaining it, nor was
anyone else. Newer versions of OpenSSH support the SSH protocol v2; you

I have question about Exim. I get this "recipient address [EMAIL PROTECTED]
didn't match any local name" warning when I get my emails. The mail comes
to my mailbox ok but this warning is a bit irksome. I think there is
somthing amiss in the Exim as I looked in the /var/spool/exim/input
