Subject: kdm shows black screen instead of login
Package: kdm
Version: 4:4.4.5-3
Severity: important

Problem:
kdm shows a black screen
When it happens:
When kdm is started, I see a black screen (every time)
What I expected:
Some logi
x and mbrola for German language, as
festival is not working with German.
If it might be easy to build new, it would be great. Otherwise I will stay
at version kttsd-4.3.4, which is still working perfectly for me.
Thank you very much for the great work!

I also added a sound event by a commmand: play /usr/share/sounds/test.wav,
which worked perfectly.
So just movement did not work. Can someone confirm this behaviour?
Thanks for any help.

Hi Ana,
I'm checking my logs, and the old koffice version was 1.6.8-3 which was the

important for me, you can set this bugreport to "minor", if you want. It
will be ok for me. :)
Thank you very much for your great work!!!

Interesting.. the same program run on another, fairly similar, system
has no problems whatsoever. Even running the client on the `broken'
system talking to the X server on the `working' system works. So
whatever the problem I'm having is, I'm not sure it's related to Qt as
such. Though I'm puzzl
