I tested this by installing another desktop (MATE on X.org) and there is no problem when I run two electron apps.Beeehh, that is bad. And no idea what could be the reason. But it sounds to me like some 3d/mesa stack problem, not inherently Plasma.
So somehow the problem is connected to plasma. Best, Patrick
