Interesting.. the same program run on another, fairly similar, system has no problems whatsoever. Even running the client on the `broken' system talking to the X server on the `working' system works. So whatever the problem I'm having is, I'm not sure it's related to Qt as such. Though I'm puzzled why setting the selection would work in one place in the cliptest program but not in another, or why it's only Qt apps -- at least cliptest and the other program that started me investigating -- that seem to be affected. -- Robert Macomber xby...@rojoma.com
