Heya,
Your package currently fails to build on most archs as it build-deps
both on libtiff4-dev and libjpeg8-dev. The former is now, in the course
of the libjpeg8 rollback, depending on libjpeg62-dev again
There hasn't been much progress on the upstream side regarding a major
update to make Caret compatible with recent VTK versions. As a result
Caret remains severely broken. The Debian maintainer's evaluation of the
required patch made him conclude that it would not be resonable to
patch it for VTK c
