the libcapi20-3 issue), I'd be happy to sponsor the NMU.

I think you should upload with minimal delay.
#725000 has not been acted upon at all since it was first reported about
7 months ago. After Rolf's recent followup to #745736 in which he states
that he does not want to bless a previous NMU with an regular upload[1],
I find it hard to imagin
