Tobias, I think you should upload with minimal delay.
#725000 has not been acted upon at all since it was first reported about 7 months ago. After Rolf's recent followup to #745736 in which he states that he does not want to bless a previous NMU with an regular upload[1], I find it hard to imagine any activity from him regarding this package in the near future. (Orphaning the package might be the reasonable thing to do in that case, but that's a different issue.) The Debian Developer's Reference recommends a 2-day delay for "[u]pload fixing only release-critical bugs older than 7 days".
