way to deal with this is to state the
encoding explicitly:

Are you suggesting it should be taken from the locale specified by the
environment? This seems rather fragile to me. Is there a better way to

If
you're trying to build it yourself, you have to have a properly configured
Informix development setup.
The package isn't supposed to be auto-built, see
http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=246347
Could you comment further about which of these was the problem?

I'm going by the descriptions given when I ran report
($pattern)) { $pattern = ''; }
my $counter = 0;
open(ICREAD, "$inetdcf");
SLOOP: while () {
-$counter++ if (/^$service\b/ and /$pattern/);
+$counter++ if (/^$service\s+/ and /$pattern/);
}
close(ICREAD);
return($counter);
Package: clamav-base
Version: 0.83-1
Severity: normal
The clamd.conf(5) man page is missing from the package. I believe
this is because the clamav-base target in debian/rules isn't running
dh_installman.

Would you send me one of your bones files? I want to verify that my
assumption (the version info is stored with 64-bit values, not 32-bit,
since the C code uses "unsigned long", and the Perl test uses pack "L!")
is correct. Thanks.

ethack. Alexis adds version/architectures for which
there's some demand. There isn't really any point in my contacting him
about it, because without demand from real users he wouldn't be adding the
new version/architecture to the server's list.

any 64 bit platforms, so there's currently no reason for the client to.
Are you suggesting that the server should, or that the Debian package
shouldn't be available on your architecture?
