Package: lsof
Version: 4.74.dfsg.3-2
Severity: minor

The man page section on the -i command explains

Since service names may contain embedded minus signs, the staring
entry of a range can't be a service name; it can be a port number,
    however.

but the examples just under that lists

[EMAIL PROTECTED]:smtp-nameserver - TCP, ports smtp through nameserver,
host bar

The explanation is right, the example doesn't work.

  # lsof -i [EMAIL PROTECTED]:smtp-nameserver
lsof: unknown service smtp-nameserver for tcp in: -i [EMAIL
PROTECTED]:smtp-nameserver
  [...]
