The segfault likely is, but the failure likely isn't. Could you send
the output of both of these commands, please?
apt-cache policy debget
debget --debug --debug debget
(At a guess debget is trying to get info from the apt cache but it isn't
there. Currently debget uses the apt cache to get some info which isn't
available from packages.debian.org. I'm trying to get in touch with the
packages.debian.org guys so all the info can be gotten from the web site
instead.)
