Let me begin by stating for a fact that the present
source package 'netkit-ftp-ssl' does in fact build
correctly with libssl1.1, as soon as the Build-Depends
stanza is modified to allow libssl in version 1.1.
However, and this is the core of the present issue,
an executable linked to libssl1.1 is
l improvement for certificate verification
and identification for this Debian release, but only the binary
ftp-ssl is affected by the present issue.
