changing the default value in /etc/init.d/spamassassin fixes your

Downgrading to dosemu (1.2.1-3), with no other change, returns the

Suggestion for a temporary solution. I don't know, if this is the right
way to do it, but it worked for me.
Just make a symlink /usr/lib/X11/fonts/Type1 pointing to
/usr/share/fonts/X11/Type1, and the run 'dpkg-reconfigure gsfonts-x11'.
