tag 351500 + moreinfo unreproducible thanks I'm a little confused by your bug report. You are reporting that changing the default value in /etc/init.d/spamassassin fixes your problem. This suggests that the init script is unable to read your file /etc/default/spamassassin. Does it exist? Could you provide it? What are the permissions on it?
