It seems you have to first download the mpeg playing codec. (Play any mpeg andit will automatically prompt for the download). After this is installed, the streaming internet radio will play. Hi Thanks for touching me again..now its sorted out already Thanks sanjay -Original Message- From: boun...@canonical.com [mailto:boun...@canonical.com] On Behalf Of papukaija Sent: Saturday, 16 October, 2010 6:45 PM To: san...@gautams.net Subject: [Bug 610285] Re: touch mouse is not working Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We need some more information from you before we can start working on this bug. Please run the following command which will attach necessary information: apport-collect 610285 Bear in mind that you may need to install the python-launchpadlib package from the universe repository with 'sudo apt-get install python- launchpadlib'. Additionally, when prompted to give apport-collect permissions for Launchpad you will need to give it at least the ability to "Change Non-Private" data as it will be adding information to your bug report. If you are using an older release or cannot use apport please at least add the following information (pay attention to lspci's additional options): First run the following commands: 1) uname -a > uname-a.log 2) dmesg > dmesg.log 3) sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log 4) cat /proc/version_signature > version.log then attach the files separately to the bug report (not pasted into comments or tar/zip-ed). For your reference, the full description of procedures for kernel- related bug reports is available at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/KernelTeam/KernelTeamBugPolicies. [Bug 1455212] Re: IPP-over-USB support broken
Hello Till, Sorry for the delay. While testing the applied patch in fresh Ubuntu 15.04 machine, the issue seems to be half fixed and can be still reproduced. After comparing the setup with old Ubuntu system, I found that, while debugging I added RUN{builtin}+="uaccess" entry in 56-hpmud.rules file, which I forgot to remove while testing shebang changes and hence I could see permissions getting reflected immediately and ipp queue getting created immediately and therefore I thought that issue is fixed. I am really sorry about that. Basically there were two problems related to system-configure-printer. ISSUE1: udev-add-printer script cannot be launched from udev-configure- printer process (as python process throws an error "unknown option -") and hence automatic print queues are not added. Provided patch is correct and fixes this issue. Anyway I am providing the test code (in the attached file) using which this issue could be reproduced. ISSUE2: Not yet fixed. Need to write proper udev rules for the programs that create daemons. I have explained the issue properly in the attached file. systemd-udevd worker process hangs for about 3 minutes and hence 1) Setting permissions to device node in /dev directory is delayed by 3 minutes. 2) udev-add-printer process remains in Zombie state for about 3 minutes as parent process does not read its exit value 3) ippusbxd daemon (which is forked from ippusbxd main process before returning ipp port) is terminated after 3 minutes, and hence ipp uri becomes unusable as there is no daemon listening to ipp requests. I could not spend more time to test the proposed fix (i.e using TAG+= "systemd", ENV{SYSTEMD-WANTED}="configure-printer@.service" and then writing proper service file etc etc.) due to lack of time. Please check if you can reproduce the issue non IPP usb printer and also please let me know if you need any other information regarding this issue. [Bug 561264] Re: 3.10.2 prints black stripes on CM1312nfi MFP
Hi, Thanks for reporting the issue. We will remove the color option for this device. Just wanted one clarification. Is printing happening fine on p1005(b & w printer), or is it printing black patches. Also please provide the output of "hp-check -t" command. Thanks, Sanjay ** Changed in: hplip Status: New => In Progress ** Changed in: hplip Assignee: (unassigned) => Sanjay Kumar (sanjay-kumar14) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/561264 Title: 3.10.2 prints black stripes on CM1312nfi MFP To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/hplip/+bug/561264/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
