When lower case "v" is pressed nothing happens. Uppercase "V" (Ahift-V) works correctly. Everywhere (firefox, eclipse, gedit) else the key works correctly 1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System -> About Ubuntu.
