Subject: [Bug 400329] Re: Lowercase "v" key not working in gnome terminal

It might be a local configuration problem. When you add another user to
the system, is the same problem appearing there?

Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal

When lower case "v" is pressed nothing happens. Uppercase "V" (Ahift-V) works
correctly.
Everywhere (firefox, eclipse, gedit) else the key works correctly
1) The release of Ubuntu you are using, via 'lsb_release -rd' or System ->
About Ubuntu.
     Description: Ubuntu 9.04
     Release: 9.04
2) The version of the package you are using, via 'apt-cache policy packagename'
or by checking in Synaptic.
    GNOME Terminal 2.26.0-0ubuntu2
3) What you expected to happen
When lower case "v" is pressed v should be shown in terminal.
