[Bug 1769384] Re: SDDM does not unlock gnome-keyring on login
Can confirm that SDDM has trouble unlocking the default keyring. While it always seems to unlock it after a cold boot, at some point trouble arises when logging out and back in again, along with after resuming from suspend / hibernate. In those situations, the keyring remains locked far more often than not. I am experiencing this under Lubuntu 19.04. The issue has been occurring both before and after I migrated data over from an install of Ubuntu Xenial. I have not made changes to sddm configs, as the other user who filed this bug has. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1769384 Title: SDDM does not unlock gnome-keyring on login To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/sddm/+bug/1769384/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1325675] [NEW] Indicator Plugin Area Refuses to Match Xfce Themes & Certain Icons are Cut Off
Public bug reported: i have noticed two strange bugs in regard to the new indicator plugin on the panel in xubuntu 14.04 (64bit): 1. in the panel preferences dialog, when i set the background style to "none (use system style)" the entire indicator plugin area and all the icons in it, refuse to match the rest of the panel and instead take on a semi-transparent grey background. this happens with all themes that i've tried. here is a screenshot that shows how out of place and incosistent the indicator area looks under these conditions; http://i5.minus.com/i13axvucGfWum.png now, if i change the background style to "solid color" the bug disappears; http://i6.minus.com/ibjum6Wc3c9Anz.png but that means my panel will no longer match whatever theme i use automatically. 2. some icons in the indicator plugin area have portions cut off, there is no other way to describe this. here is a screenshot; http://i5.minus.com/i51zpfDWSL0nE.png notice the icon for psensor (next to volume control icon) is cut off at the top and bottom. p.s. this is on a machine i upgraded from 13.10 to 14.04 through the software updater / dist-upgrade. aside from some issues with a few indicator and notification plugins, the upgrade went swimmingly. - version of xfce4-indicator-plugin = 2.3.2-0ubuntu2 - what i expect to happen = the indicator plugin area should match the xfce theme i'm using, and thus the rest of the panel. icons should also not be cut off, and i'd assume scaled to fit on the panel instead. - what happened instead = the indicator plugin area does not match any xfce them i'm using, and thus looks very out of place on the panel, unless i change the background style to "solid color", but this nullifies the ability of the panel to automatically match themes. certain icons also do not fit the panel and are cut off / cropped. ** Affects: xfce4-indicator-plugin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: trusty xfce xubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1325675 Title: Indicator Plugin Area Refuses to Match Xfce Themes & Certain Icons are Cut Off To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-indicator-plugin/+bug/1325675/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1325681] [NEW] Mailwatch Plugin Ceases to Function after Recognizing One New Email
Public bug reported: under xubuntu 14.04 (64bit), the mailwatch plugin has a serious issue. during a session, the mailwatch plugin will eventually notify me about new mail, but after the initial notification, the mailwatch plugin will no longer function until i log out & log back in again, or sometimes even until i restart the machine. the icon will remain blue and it will not update automatically or manually. this renders the panel plugin useless after one notification. i even removed the plugin from the panel, reinstalled it through synaptic and added my email accounts back to it one by one. this did not remedy the issue. version of xfce4-mailwatch-plugin = 1.2.0-1 what i expect to happen = for the mailwatch plugin to work flawlessly, as it did in 13.10. what happened instead = the mailwatch plugin is rendered useless after noticing one new email. ** Affects: xfce4-mailwatch-plugin (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: trusty xfce xubuntu -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1325681 Title: Mailwatch Plugin Ceases to Function after Recognizing One New Email To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-mailwatch-plugin/+bug/1325681/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1500768] Re: python3.4.3 SRU break requests
Like Bill Miller (#19) I downgraded via the suggestion in #16, and it broke [amongst other things] Software Updater, Software & Updates (which also affects Synaptic, in that its interface for managing repositories becomes inaccessible). I had to temporarily enable trusty proposed via adding it to /etc/apt/sources.list, and upgrade the packages again. This is a terribly annoying situation, and really should not be happening on an LTS release. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1500768 Title: python3.4.3 SRU break requests To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/python3.4/+bug/1500768/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
[Bug 1523749] [NEW] xfce4-session from the Xfce 4.12 Xubuntu Developers PPA Needs Updating/Recompiling
Public bug reported: There is a pesky bug when using xfce 4.12 under xubuntu, where Qt applications do not pick up on the Gtk or icon themes that the rest of the system uses. It was pointed out on xfce's bugzilla that it is simply due to a compilation flag, and the problem can easily be remedied by not utilizing the troublesome flag. see more here: https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=12012 ** Affects: xfce4-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1523749 Title: xfce4-session from the Xfce 4.12 Xubuntu Developers PPA Needs Updating/Recompiling To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-session/+bug/1523749/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs

[Bug 1328244] [NEW] Duplicate TitleBars in Gtk3 Applications
Public bug reported: There's an annoying redundancy and usability issue regarding Gtk3 applications under Xfce in Xubuntu. Most Gtk3 applications sport 2 title bars. [Bug 1292290] Re: Window manager keybindings don't work after reboot
None of the workarounds posted solve this issue for me (I'm under Xubuntu 14.04). Thankfully I set up a good deal of shortcuts back on 13.10, but there were some I left out which I'd love to get working now (specifically the shortcuts for tiling windows). [Bug 1325681] Re: Mailwatch Plugin Ceases to Function after Recognizing One New Email
Issue seems to have disappeared. Don't know how, why or even when exactly, but I tried it out again today and mailwatch seems to be working fine.
