Public bug reported: Though this is obviously related to this bug; https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xfce4-indicator- plugin/+bug/1416843 I'm not sure if It's a duplicate, so I'm still reporting it.
Basically, after a menu element changes in an indicator plugin's menu, on a bottom-aligned panel, the menu will show up either far away from the panel (as in, completely disconnected from it), or as in the previous report, directly over and obscuring the panel. Here is a screenshot of the former condition: http://i.imgur.com/xyaNZ0p.png As you can see, the Sound Menu indicator has been activated, but its menu appears quite removed from the panel, and the indicator itself. Strangely, I have not encountered this issue when my panel is placed at the top of the screen. Could this have something to do with Unity's panel being top-aligned?
