Hello Jerry,

let me offer you a small piece of advice, skip the books that have
"Linux" in their title, Unix writers market is much more mature.
looks like you have figured out the rest for yourself :)

this does not mean there are/will be no good books on Linux, it's
just that everybody jumps on the bandwagon - look how many errors are
in Minasi's book on Linux for one
