I don't know if the SVGA server is the one that should be used with your
chipset.. I use a voodoo3 and I use the SVGA.. but I don't know about
your's offhand... S3 uses an accellerated server, tho, I think.
NOTE: 1024x768 uses more video memory than 800x600, and different color
depths will also show. Were you also using the same window manager and
desktop environment as before (same versions too)?
