I've installed (or attempted to, in the earlier cases) a number of the
NetGear cards.  Is this the FA310TX?  It seems that on some (most?)
motherboards, this card will only work in the first PCI slot:  the one
nearest the power supply.  The bitch we have with that is that putting a
PCI card right next to an AGP video card is often really stupid.  :)

Try the card in the first PCI slot, if you can.  Let us know what comes of
it.
