Standard fat (16) is type "msdos," although, I *think* fstype "vfat" supports both MSDOS and FAT32 file systems. If you've got VFAT, you've got support for Fat32. I'm not sure what your problem is, but suffice it to say, it's something to do with YOUR setup.... Vfat works BEAUTIFULLY here!
