I've been able to access those drives since Mandrake 5.3 (I later upgraded to RedHat 6.0 and then to RedHat 6.2) so I think it may be that you didn't select FAT32 support when installing or something, 'cause you shouldn't have any trouble with Fat32. Can you post your /etc/fstab here for us? Also, do you have AMD and AUTOFS running? If not, maybe you should consider running them?
