Hi All,
My boss very kindly upgraded my dual boot machine faster processor more
memory etc. The only problem is they put is a new video card and now
I can't get X to run. I tried runing Xconfigurator but when it checks the
settings I get an error. In windows the driver is etrio 3D 2x and on the
invoice it says S3 TRIO 3D 8MB AGP VIDEO they also stuck in
a cd that says eVGA display Driver for win 95/98. .
I found a partial answer to my queston on eVGA.com web site.
They actually mention Linux although they spend most of their time
saying it is not supported! However they do say if you have
XFree86 3.3.6 it should work . So what version of XFree does
6.2 come with? Also is there anything major that will break when
I install it? I am currently running RH6.0 with some networking services
