I tired numerous times and ways to get freewwweb to work. I tried PAP,
CHAP, MS-CHAP; nothing worked.
I read on a newsgroup that someone else had it working some weeks after I
gave it up as a lost case. So, I tried again. I got it to work once with an
ordinary dialup script and couldn't repeat it. I haven't tried it again
since. Instead I set up wvdial and x-wvdial to handle it and haven't had any
problems since, though I use mostly worldinter.net since I already paid for
a year in advance. Still I try it every now and then to make sure it stays
active and still works.
