I've altered my /etc/hosts file and now my machine won't boot. I added an ip
mumber in this range 192.168.0.1-192.168.255.255. and the hostname hollow.

I did this cause I found a webpage that said if I didn't I wouldn't be able
to use X when I was online.

Oh experts out there, its question time.

1) how do I get out of the mess I've gotton my self into, preferably w/o
reinstallation.

2) Do I need to alter the hostname for the above reason?

3) If so, what do I put in the file?

4) Do I need to alter any other files?

Bear in mind I have not been able to make a boot disk on a std floppy since
I have an LS120. I boot via loadlin from windooze. I tried booting via an
old kernel from an old suse distribution but it hangs as well. HELP!!!!
NH.
