Hi,
I assure you that I've never touched the street drug called crack. But
I am having problems with printing under Red Hat 6. We have a network
of three Linux machines. One of them, ripley, has an Epson Stylus Color
800 printer. Under Red Hat 5.2, you could print to ripley's Epson from
any of the three machines. But since I upgraded to Red Hat 6.0, and now
6.1, I can only print from ripley. I cannot print over the network. I
configured the printer on all three machines using printtool. When I
try to print from one of the remote machines, I get an error saying:
ripley: lpd: lp: Your host does not have line printer access
Does any have remote printing running on a Linux network? I've
installed the latest lpr, 0.48. What else can I check? Thanks,
Hidong
