As Kevin describes below, this is the same as my situation. I had been using
RH6.0 with NT 4.0 in a dual boot situation -- no problems -- upgraded to RH
6.1 and had the virus message ( which thanks to all who have responded has
convinced me that it's not really a virus) and the loss of being able to
boot NT. I couldn't even boot drive A to reinstall NT or use my NT repair
disk. Nor could I reboot from the NT CD (after changing my bios to boot from
the CD) -- so I assumed that indeed there was a virus because I could boot
RH6.1 from the floppy and from the CD.

In any event, I plan to try the procedure Kevin described below -- I'll post
my findings for my situation.
