OK, something looked wrong with the above font calls, so I brought up
xfontsel to check something out.  Unless there is something about defining
an X font, the above three lines are in error.  The correct line is:

        -adobe-helvetica-bold-r-normal--12-*-*-*-*-*-iso8859-1

Notice the extra four wildcards.

Try finding the location that has the three lines and replace them with
the above line and see what happens.
