You shouldn't have gotten any font warnings.
I'm a Unix FrameMaker user of over 5 years and have configured it to my
liking over the years. I've even created my own XCommands and Commands
files, which allow me to insert characters > 7F.
FrameMaker is a very powerful document preparation package that is many
times better than Word will ever hope to be.
