I've been going through the "Getting started in Linux" stuff in Netscape
under Linux. I'm still trying to figure out this dip business for
connecting to the web via. Compuserve under Linux. When I try to print
something in Netscape I am prompted for a print command, what should I put
in here to print to LPT1?
I've been using the VI editor in Linux, I'm sure that it comes with a GUI
editor, where is it? How do I save my desktop under Linux? Is there an X
equivalent to Windows 95 shortcuts or OS/2 shadows? Is there an easy way
to automatically mount file systems? If I had to do something like this in
DOS/Win95 I would use a batch file, probably put in my AUTOEXEC.BAT file.
I guess that in Unix/Linux you use a script to do this?
Thanks...
