I don't think anyone meant any offense to you or other business like you.
I for one appreciate the work you are doing and would prefer to send
business your way rather than to Dell/Gateway/Compaq etc. I applaud your
efforts.
I do, however, believe Linux mindshare would be helped if one of those
manufacturers offered a Linux machine.
Let me ask you this... do you think Dell/Gateway/Compaq would contract
with you to provide Linux machines and support to their customers? You
would get the benefit of their advertising, brand name, and sales
channels, while they would increase their product line and hopefully all
involved would make a little money.
