I'm not looking for trouble here....but I didn't see much difference between
4.2 to 5, so I don't expect much of a difference from 5 to 5.1. I was the
one that brought up this subject last week...out of curiosity...and being a
little bored.

I admit that I'm relatively new to RedHat so my opinion isn't rock-solid. I
came to RedHat with 4.1, and just upgraded because I had the time, money
(gotta love the price of $1.49), and my computer was setup so bad :)

I don't expect to see much difference is OSes from experience. I don't know
if we'll ever see the 'jump' that was seen like the Win3.1 to Win95 example.
Unless this jump happens again somehow on our way to 64-bit OSes. If I want
change....I just change. I go from NT, to RedHat, to FreeBSD, to Slackware,
to Unixware, to OS/2...Whatever I can get my hands on...

No, I'm not going to ask when it's coming out. Hopefully, the
correct answer to that is "when it's ready, and not before."

What I'm wondering is what's planned for 5.1. Anything major and
earthshaking, or just a new CD with all the updates & fixes
incorporated?
