Exceed will let you emulate the display. We have exceed on our work LAN. It
is just like being on the Sun/HP/Linux boxes. I think you may need a
different setup if you are connecting over the internet though. I would
suggest looking on the Humminbird website for more information.

Well I guess I'm not out of the woods yet.  I got the X Windows to show up
such as 
redhat-config-printer the output shows up on my desktop wich is what I
wanted but I 
want to "emulate" the GUI/Desktop to my xp laptop at my office.  I
understand now 
that Xceed will not do that, hmm.  What will, the same applies as before I
have to 
have an X server running on my pc but a Google.com/linux search comes up
with 
configuring the X server on a linux box.

I'm a tad bit lost here, am I missing the obvious?
