Many of you on this list may have become aware that some people on this
list were receiving an email containing instructions on how to unsubscribe
from this list. this email originated from a bot script of mine which
has been assisting people who were trying (incorrectly) to unsubscribe
from various RedHat mailing lists. This script had been working well for
almost a year and I added the Redhat general discussion list (this list)
to it a few weeks ago.

Then, yesterday, I made some changes to my procmail script which I tested
and which passed testing just fine. Unfortunately my tests only verified
that the new functions worked correctly and did not verify that previously
existing functionality was unaffected. It was.

It looks like about 80 people who did not ask to unsubscribe got the
informational message. I apologize for the error.

This was not intended to be an invitation to leave this list. To all who
received it please be assured there was no personal intent in the message.

Once again, my apologies for this disturbance.

Note - Ed, Irwin, Todd and Peter - I owe you guys a beer for bringing this
to my attention. My earlier response was wrong (no kidding Jeff). Sorry for
being such a twit.
