I'm not sure what
just happened. I came home, saw there was an update to RH 8.0. I
clicked on the red-dot. I waited to see what the updates were but all that
happened was my hard drive went to thrashing. I let this go on for about
10 minutes and said enough is enough. I pulled the plug so to
speak.
Now, my system hangs
at mounting SMB filesystems. This has been going on now for about 20
minutes or so. I tried the interactive set-up but it doen't give me a
choice at that startup.
Any ideas on when
this will time-out? Or will it? Am I screwed or
what?
Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
