I've checked lilo.conf : there was no vga= , i've added vga=1 but no change.
I've checked all files in rc.d/ there was no occurence of SVGATextMode or
something approaching. Reset doesn't give more result. I'm still on
X86config for my monitor size problem. Could it be possible to tell the
system to switch back to vga mode = 1 when i quit X (in xinit or xinitrc or
something like this)?
I've checked that i have 80 columns and 25 rows which is still the case
when i have those strange characters.
