This could indicate an out of memory condition.  I don't know which log
this would be in but try 'dmesg' to see if there is any indication of a
memory problem.  What is your memory configuration like? 

Another possibility is you have some flaky memory that begins to
misbehave when it gets warm.

Netscape is not a very well behaved program....
