Are you using Metro? Netscape 4.03 was locking my box about once or
twice or week. I think it's just a little glitchy :) I switched to XFree
and things have been a lot better. Only locked up a couple of times
since (due to a KDE lib prob). NS still goes down on occassion, but it
hasn't been taking X with it. I've had to kill NS a few times during a
lock, and had to shutdown and restart the box to get it going again.
Haven't figured out what it does to the box, but it won't restart
without a shutdown and reset??? Luckily this is rare.
Just an idea.
