I updated packages just now for the second time since installing the last snapshot (from the 17th) and menus are working fine in Firefox 50.0 again on my X260. The update included gtk+3-3.22.4 from the previous 3.22.3. I am guessing perhaps that might be related but in any case, things are working fine.
