I dont have such hw so same thing, pure speculation. Menus are Gtk+3
stuff, so i'm not sure what could be so specific to firefox here. Either
way, check about:support in the Graphics section, and about:config for
the various gfx.* knobs, although those are more meant for *content*..
Or look into bugzilla.mozilla.org for similar reports.
