Well, it Was NOT enabled on his installations (Both of them) and that was the problem.......
Don't get me wrong. But I'd say that only was a symptom of the actual problem. A disabled checkbox? I wouldn't even know in what stat LMS would need to be. Something about his system must have been utterly broken. Or his browser was. Did you ever try an alternative browser? Maybe there was some caching going on?
