pCP is a minimal software. Originally less than 15MB. Player Only. While LMS is small in today's software world, in the scheme of pCP, it represents significant bloat to someone wanting to just be a player. So we leave it as an additional download.
8.1.0 is the latest version, there are no required patches. Those that are on 8.1.0 and saw that something happens when you run the patch update......it is a placebo effect.
