OK, this was a weird one...............

To figure out what was going on..... I took a spare Raspberry Pi that I
had and Installed the 8.1.0 Release as a Player/Server to emulate what
my friend was doing 1,200 miles away.... During the install, I entered
my Credentials for MySB.com (which had my Tidal as an Application
already).... PiCorePlayer came 'alive' and I installed All patches and
updates in LMS and Squeezelite... The Tidal Plugin was already Checked
(probably based on MySB.com having my Tidal App)... Tidal worked without
a hitch for my Tidal Account..... This confirmed to me that the 8.1.0
Release was working for what we were trying to do. So, I needed to
verify that his MySB.com Account had valid Credentials as well as his
Tidal Account.

So, I sent my friend an e-mail telling him that he needed to send me:
1.) His Login and Password to his MySB.com
2.) His Login and Password to his Tidal Account

So, I get his his credentials and I change the PcP to His MySB.com
Account and I see Tidal Listed under 'My Apps'. When I click on Tidal, I
get an error message that 'Tidal has invalid credentials'..... OK, now
we're getting somewhere...........

I login to his MySB.com Account and see Tidal listed as an App as well
as his Tidal Account.... So, I delete his Tidal Credentials from his
MySB.com account and Re-Add them using the information he provided to
me.... It links to his Tidal Account with a Checkmark. OK..... So, now
we re-start Squeezelite with the new info and just like that I'm
streaming with His Tidal Account... Everything is working perfectly.

So, now I tell him, he had some bad Tidal Credentials loaded into his
MySB.com Account and that I have corrected them (Not sure why his Tidal
Account even showed up with a Bad Login and/or Password, but it
did).......... So, he continues to try to check the Tidal Plugin Box and
it will not let him do this at all !!

So, here is what I'm guessing may have happened..............

During his installs of PcP, because of his Bad Credentials for Tidal, it
did not automatically check the Tidal Box Pluggin... And PcP prevented
him from checking the Tidal Pluggin Box even though he had corrected the
credentials, and restarted PcP many times..... On my system However,
since I installed PcP with my own MySB.com account which had my correct
Tidal Credentials initially, the Tidal Plugin was already checked upon
install, and gave me an error message of 'Invalid Tidal Credentials'
when I pointed to my friend's MySB.com Account......

So, I'm guessing the only way around this was to Correct the MySB.com
Account (Or not have Tidal entered at all) and then do a Fresh
Re-install of PcP..... Which I'm having him do...... It will work for
sure, as I have done it here in my Home.......

So that is why this was the Bitch of All Bitch PcP installs for
me...............
