   Perhaps VD (Visual Diff)?

I understand the desire to look at two files side-by-side, with one in an
editor and the other viewed in a pager. Differences that need to be
corrected can be copied from the read-only terminal and pasted into the
editor console using the pointy device, or manually typed in from the
keyboard. Saves a step or two compared with producing an output diff file
and using that to edit one file.
