The masses are choosing on the hype of the HD internet content delivery 
model.  I frankly don't care about the size of the monitor as long as it 
is sharp and bright and at least 19" so I can get the font large enough 
to see.  I was given a 24" 16x9 at work, which works well for me so I 
can have large Xterms side by side, since I usually am logged into three 
or four different systems at the same time, at it helps when I can 
compare configurations or code side-by-side.
