I pulled my camera off the tripod and did a handheld shot with my 150-450 and 1.4X converter mounted — about 630 mm. Shutter speed was at 1,000th. That looks a lot like the vultures I was photographing this afternoon. They might sound a bit more impressive though if I call them "Paul eagles".
