The color is right, although the feathers st the end of the wings are 
different. But looking at the bird guide pic I posted I see some red on the 
head as well. Perhaps that pic is incorrectly identified? Most of the eagle 
pics don't have that much white. You could  be right. I've never seen a turkey 
vulture here, but would think there are some.
