I think it may be worth your while to contact someone from US of A as
the idea that FA 135 cannot be fixed for the problem you're having
sounds very strange to me.

Some of you might remember my FA135 that a moth took hostage. Long
story short there is a dead moth right behind the back element. If
nothing else, it is messing with focusing, so I would very much like
to get rid of its carcas and debris.
So half a year ago I went to my local Pentax dealer and the lens was
sent off to be "fixed". After long travels to the Czech Republic and
Germany it finally came back today. Nobody has even tried to take it
apart. They say they can't fix it.
So my question is - do I try to take it apart or give it to some
local repairman to attempt a repair? I haven't seen any schematics
floating around and have no idea what it would take to remove the
back element but I have about as much trust in a nondescript repair
shop in a basement somewhere as I do in my own fingers.
